Joseph Adegunle, born 1969, is one of the sons of Elijah Adegunle (apostle) and has been working as a full-time minister since 1996 and prior to that 7 years as a part-time minister as evangelist with the church in Nigeria.

     Salvation

     At young age Joseph got an encounter with God and recieved a revelation about life and God. This led him to receive Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour and he begun living his life according to the standards of the Bible.

Education

He studied and got diplomas in Building construction and Civil engineering, but before he graduated God spoke to him that he should work for Him, as minister of the Gospel. The following seven years he operated as part-time evangelist in World Flaming Gospel Church Int'l (WFGC Int.). Joseph studied Bachelor Degree in Theology at United Bible University and also took additional courses such as “Deliverance” and “Biblical Counselling” at Christ Life Bible College. The year 1996 he was ordained pastor in WFGC Int. and started working in the church as full-time minister.

Special calling

During a conference in another church Joseph received a strong prophetic word of God. The visiting prophet had no idea of who Joseph was and during the service he spoke out: “Who is Joseph Adegunle? I can hear that name mentioned in my spirit” Joseph stood up and the prophet said: “The Lord is telling me that He has made you an international minister and whether you struggle for it or not it will come to pass. People will call you from all over the world to come and minister”. In the year 2002 he arrived in Sweden as an international missionary student.

Family life

In Sweden he met his wife which he married 2003. Her name is Merete and she is also a warm believer with a heart burning for God. She works as a nurse and have many years experience from social and evangelistic mission. Joseph and Merete are blessed with wonderful children and the family are based in Uppsala, Sweden.

The ministry

The prophetic word from God has already been manifesting. Joseph and his family travel around the globe for Gospel ministration, in Europe, America and Africa. The year 2004 God spoke to him to start a worship center, a branch of WFGC Int. in Sweden. (See Ministry Branches, Europe, Gospelkyrkan, Uppsala) The ministry is focused on global world evangelisation, deliverance, intercessory prayers, counselling and Christ discipleship. Many are being helped by God through this ministry. Joseph's strong passion is for the salvation, deliverance and discipleship of all mankind. He acts in the entire five-fold ministry gifts and is mainly a pastor with the divine anointing of an firing evangelist.
